The biking

We'll be straight with you - we want you to enjoy your stay at with us here at Bike Verbier, so when it comes to the kind of riding you'll be doing, it's only fair we put our cards on the table and let you know what to expect.

The riding here is epic. We don't like labels and pigeonholes, so let's just say these are big mountains with remote and often challenging trails. Over the years we've scoped and ridden dozens of routes that take us well beyond the legendary Verbier bowl - sometimes crossing into Italy and France, but always delivering the kind of unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime riding you've read about in the magazines or watched on the DVDs. From high alpine passes and backcountry hike-a-bikes through to fast-flowing traverses, jaw-dropping plummets and endless technical singletrack, the rewards are there for those prepared to make the effort.

Location

Just 90 minutes from Geneva, the Verbier region doesn't get the attention of certain Alpine resorts we could mention - and that suits us fine. Although this stunning location boasts some of the world's finest scenery and most breathtaking riding, nine times out of ten you'll have the trails all to yourself.

As well as biking, visitors to the area enjoy a vast range of activities and adventure sports including rock climbing, paragliding, hiking, canyoning and horse riding. Nearby towns and villages play host to various exhibitions, performances and events, while Verbier itself offers all the fun and games you'd expect from a world-class resort, with bars, nightclubs, restaurants, leisure & beauty facilities and, of course, a huge selection of shops and boutiques.
